Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu was recently seen at the Hyderabad airport as he jetted off on a family holiday to celebrate his daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni’s 13th birthday. Accompanied by wife Namrata Shirodkar and son Gautam, the actorshared a warm moment with Sitarabefore boarding, planting a kiss on her forehead.
Dressed in a rugged green full-sleeve t-shirt, pants, black baseball cap and sunglasses, Mahesh kept it casual yet stylish for the trip. The family is headed to Sri Lanka for the celebration, as confirmed by SriLankan Airlines, who shared a post on X. “We had the pleasure of welcoming South Indian cinema icon Mahesh Babu on his journey from Hyderabad to Colombo with SriLankan Airlines! The actor is currently gearing up for his much-awaited project ‘SSMB 29’, directed by SS Rajamouli. The film, touted to be the director’s next magnum opus after ‘RRR’, is reportedly inspired by African adventure tales and will see Mahesh Babu in the role of a rugged explorer.
Sources close to the production have confirmed to IndiaToday.in that the shoot for‘SSMB29’ will resume in August. “August is when the cameras start rolling again. Mahesh has been undergoing extensive physical training, and Priyanka’s dates have been locked in after long coordination. This schedule is going to be intense and crucial for the story arc,” said a source from the team.
While official announcements are yet to be made, the film also stars Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran andR Madhavan in key roles.
